The E414 machine tap is another of Dormers "Shark Line" range and is a blue shark tap so is best suited for threading stainless steel. With a spiral flute design the E414 is ideal for threading deep, blind holes and comes with a Super-B coating to improve performance when threading harder materials and also to increase the life of the tap. Manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization, the E414 comes in a large range of metric coarse sizes from M3 to M30, all manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt, with the benefits of improved performance and extended tool life.
